This statement sets out how privacy protection is handled by the County Governor of Sogn and Fjordane in its capacity as a processor of personal data. We want the user to feel confident that applicable laws and regulations as well as ethical industry guidelines are being followed when they use our digital solutions. The safe processing of data will be documented in accordance with current regulations at all times. The County Governor of Sogn and Fjordane acts only as the data processor of the personal data, while the receiving authority acts as data controller and owner of the data. Ownership is regulated through a separate data processing agreement.
The information you enter is forwarded to the data controller. The information enables the data controller to process your request. The information collected about you will be treated in the same way as if you had submitted a paper form.
As a logged-in user you may choose to save a draft of the online form at any time and retrieve it for completion at a later date. The information you have entered will be stored in the data processor's database (temporary data will be automatically deleted after 13 months) and will not be available to the recipient in the meantime. The information will not be sent to the recipient until you approve it. Once you choose to submit, you are also giving your consent that they can receive the information. Once the application is submitted to the data controller, the content will be deleted from the data processor's database after 13 months. An overview of previously submitted cases can be found in the "Submitted cases" folder. If you choose not to log in, submitted application data will be deleted from the data processor's server 13 months after the application has been submitted to the data controller.
All information transmitted between your computer and our server is encrypted (HTTPS) as required by the personal data regulations.
You can request to see the information we hold on you at any time. You can do this by directing a request to email@example.com. If you discover that the information is inaccurate or incomplete, you can request that it be erased.
If you do not agree that privacy protection is being handled adequately, you will not be able to use this online solution.
